I have been watching your post I was hoping someone would pipe up with something too. My Nighthawk has some rusty bits I loath to replace. I tried several cleaners and may end up just buying replacement pieces.
Hope someone comes up with suggested tricks.
Anyway happy 4th.

So I have started this thread to see if I can get at [without replacing parts] the best and most painless way to remove surface rust from chrome spring shocks etc along with the best heat resistant paint for exhaust bits I cant easily get at like around the balance pipe.
