You can swiss cheese the heck out of it and it will be fine all you really need is the plate at the end. Total removal is too loud. Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T

Unfortunately the www.nighthawk750.com site appears to be down now. :( I saw some brief instructions on this thread for the washer mod and found a youtube video for the hodge exhaust mod. I think i'm going to try them out soon... Any thoughts on drilling larger holes in the exhaust (1/2 or 5/8th inch) for a deeper growl? Also, my cousin, who is very mechanically inclined (I'm somewhat), was recommending I remove the baffles entirely and have a shop tack weld in a piece of steel into the muffler to maintain back pressure. I kind of like this idea because I'm really looking for as much noise and rumble as possible. This is a commuter bike and I want people to hear me coming on the San Diego freeways... Thanks! Ryan PS Any replies are appreciated. I will report back on what I find once I apply the mods. It will probably be a couple weeks. Thanks again! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Nighthawk Motorcycle Lovers!" group. To post to this group, send email to [email protected].
