There isn't much difference in sound level or performance between just a few 
small holes and so many holes the pipe is barely intact. But IMHO it sounds and 
runs better with more holes, we went from stock to barely any pipe left in 
about 4 steps. Definitely richen the pilots and either rejet (the right way), 
or washer mod (the cheap way). Look for my old posts, I have listed my config 
and gave links to where you can get jets a couple of times.

Yep.  Radio Shack no.4 washers.  I remember that
much of the write-ups at nighthawk.750.

Seems I also recall four quarter-inch holes specified
in each funnel on the Hodge mod, but I'm not as
certain of that remembrance.
