Ok there is are 3 wires at the headlight, a white (low beam +), a blue (hi
beam +), and a green. The green is ground and I would suspect that is the
one that is what is giving you the issue since both low and high beams are
affected, also it looks like the path to ground has to go through a number
of switches, but this diagram is kind of crappy so that might not be true.
Use a tester to check for power on the white and blue, then check for
resistance between the battery - and the green wire there should be
virtually none. Check the ground and the condition of the left hand control
bulkhead plug, the head light definately goes through this, also it looks
like your horn and turn signals could be affected.
