hi there. the clutch on my 91 250 nighthawk suddenly stopped disengaging clutch with little warning. when i opened up and looked at the plate one bolt was loose but everything else (clutch lifter and spring) seemed to work fine.
question on clutch: the manual says 12 nm for torque on the bolts. can one over tighten the plate so much that the lifter and plate don't interact? if the plate in undertorqued what would be the effects? just trouble shooting question on chain: can one clean the gunk off the chain with the orange goop one uses to clean hands? what would you guys recommend? thank you gentlemen! dan -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Nighthawk Motorcycle Lovers!" group.
