Off the top of my head - I couldn't tell you. Mine are mounted through
the Vetter hard bag quick attach framework - so their location is not
stock. I don't think they are even the same lights as stock - but then
again I'm basing that on the physical size - and perhaps they just
look too big cause thats how they made them in 1978....
I know there are multiple places one could easily weld a
small bracket in that area - if you haven't already done so - I can
take some tight in photos and get them to you. My 78 and Graham's 79
are almost mechanically identical.
