That does sound like a PIA.

I understand the discontinued doldrums, too.

Tried to find a new factory painted fender in the right color for the
Wing, in lieu of having the original matched, sprayed and pen striped.

That's still possible with the 90s NHs, but not with the GL 1100.

Bummer.
