Got the old gasket off with a dremel wire brush, not to shabby. Didn't get
it perfect but that sucker is clean inside and out, it's gonna feel good
replacing it and putting in a new oil filter and fresh oil (gonna try out
some Valvoline full synthetic 10w-40 this time). So Im assuming that the
(possibly) cam chain noise Im hearing isn't a huge problem? I read on
Paul's website someone said that resetting it can help? Is that possible on
an 85' 650? Also the guy Ive been working with was talking about synching
the carbs, should I clean them first? What about getting the carb rebuild
kits, is that only done if necessary and not bother? I wanna get her
running as smoothly as possible because as of now she seems to be
struggling a lil at idle even warmed up.
