I always thought lane splitting is more dangerous, but they have a good point about the rear-end crashes. Now that I think about, it should a rule not to sit on a red light in a lane, but between lanes. And if you have cars in front of you, just move ahead. The only two car accidents I have had so far were both rear-end hits by a distracted driver.
