I'm not sold either. But it is very common in Europe I believe. I think a lot of mindsets have to change before it would work here. Americans are more territorial and don't want to give up the right of way to anyone. Let alone bikers... I do like the statistics comparisons on rear end collisions in lane splitting states vs non. Interesting.
