So I was doing some checks using a voltmeter just to make sure power is going through to the starter at least. On the service manual it said that if there's a click then connect the starter motor directly to the battery I did just that. First attempt, it moved for about 1/2 a second. Second, third, forth time I tried it, nothing happened. I'm expecting it to continually run because it's just an electric motor or is this normal? So what's the best course of action for me, rebuild the starter motor or just get a new one?
