So apparently the starter clutch went bad on the 85 NH 700s. The starter seem to be spinning freely. I just looked at the manual and it calls for engine removal as step 1. Ouch. And then you need to to basically disassemble the whole thing to get there. Has anyone here ever done this job? are there are short cuts? Any advice is appreciated.
