Javier, This is going back nearly four years to when I rebuilt my starter motor on a 700s.
I seem to remember that on the end of the starter motor shaft was a gear that moved out by centrifugal force to engage with another gear in the engine proper. And it was this engagement that caused the engine to turn over. Maybe my memory is wrong but I think you'd do well to look at some exploded diagrams of these parts and see how they all come together. It may be that the gear on the end of the starter motor shaft has gotten messed up and you'll be able to access and repair it by simply pulling the starter motor out. Pulling the starter motor is pretty trivial. Cheers, Dennis - Christchurch, New Zealand On Apr 25, 2014, at 8:15 PM, Graham W Rogers <[email protected]> wrote: > Sorry to hear about that Javier.
