Unfortunately, they are something that must be done correctly or you'll just keep doing it. On my first bike a 92 NH750 it took me 2 tries to get it done as well. On my GS some of the carbs needed 3 soakings in chem dip to get them cleaned internally, so it really all depends on your starting point. The key is you must have fluid spraying from the holes by the butterflies when you squirt cleaner in the fuel screw holes, you have to plug some other holes(slow jet, and air jet holes) with your fingers for this to happen. Don't forget to remove the choke plungers and get those passages as well. Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T
