Craigslist is notorious for trolls and tire kickers. Don't invest too much time in requests. Let them court you a bit. Separates the truly interested from the window shoppers and worse. Anybody that tries to low-ball or even make an offer before seeing an item is not worth dealing with. I've told a few there's no need to talk money until you've seen the item.
