Bridging the solenoid will often create a spark.  Sounds stupid, but double 
check the battery connections and charge.  Continuity will test if the pump is 
shorted, I think.  Plug in just the positive side and see if you read 12V. And 
I would guess you would get very little gas flow from the pump.  Doesn't need 
much.

Sorry, that's all I can think to test.

My wife turned down a gorgeous V65 Magna!  Guess she is going to shut up 
instead of ride!
