I am CONSIDERING selling my bike so I can get another 700S. Honestly, I
am not sure I could go through with it. I have owned it since 1998 or so. It
is the closest to showroom new as I have seen. I, embarrassingly, put a tiny
dent on the top of the tank the size of a pencil eraser and the PO hit a pebble
that took off a tiny chip of paint on front of the tank. There is some
discoloring on the pipes and engine, but very little. I get looks,
compliments, and even some offers on nearly every ride. It runs perfectly.
Selling it to a collector might be the catalyst I need to do the horrible deed.
I can promise I will not go below $2,400. It also hinges on the 700S still
being avail. Don't want to string anyone along, but that is how it will go, iF
I sell it.
Thoughts?
