Thank you all. Once I took both boots off I realized the one clip was on 
backwards so it was probably working against me. I fixed that. I boiled 
them in water, I moved the air box back, I got them intalled in the carb 
side first then on the air box side, Put a little WD40 on them then since 
down the carb to intake joint. All good now.  Runs like a champ. I knew it 
wasn't supposed to be as hard as I was making it.
