I feel your pain. I've got a bike that is slow to rev down also. I bought new boots for it because it failed the ether spray test, but that didn't remedy the problem. Why does the air pressure keep the vacuum slides up under load when the butterflies are closed? We'll all be listening when you hit on the answer.
