I always ride invisible. Basically you have to tell yourself you are invisible - NOT INVINCIBLE. If you ride as though no one can see you, you are mentally ready! And waive your "rights" as well! Don't put yourself in a situation because you have the right away and expect the car to see you. Just my two cents on approaching LA /OC traffic.
