Both of the MACs systems I have dealt with (painted and chromed) rusted badly on the down pipes, and are loud too. The V&H Javier put on his bike just blued the pipes (they are single walled pipe), but they didn't develop any rust and seemed to have pretty decent chrome overall (not as good as stock though). The sound at idle and low speed wasn't too loud, but if you wind it up she will sing to you. Javier, since you have been forced to store your NH outside the last two winters have you had any rust issues with your V&H pipes?
