I think I follow you, that your hi/lo beam switch is on your right-hand control pod, correct? I pretty much did the same thing with my multimeter, checking current at the fuse panel before the pod is plugged in, at the switch connections in the pod after connecting to the fuse panel, and the headlamp modular connector (after the switch). I'm starting to suspect that maybe there is a short in the headlamp. Something I'll look into tonight. Thanks for you thoughts!
