Spark looked fine to me when I removed them and cranked the engine with the top electrode grounded. At least to my eye they looked clean and blue, and all 4 fired. I don’t know about valve timing - I’ll check the ignition timing when I get a chance, but I don’t know why that would suddenly be a problem because the engine was running fine before, especially at higher rpm.
