Then I would not worry about fuel in the carbs for that short of time.

It does sit - but for more then 5-6 days in between rides.

Not unusual for the choke to be needed more than normal in colder temperatures.
Idle is 1000 plus or minus 100 rpm. If you are letting the bike sit for
extended periods of time between rides, you need to add fuel stabilizer and
drain the carbs (turn fuel off and let bike run until it dies) after each ride.
Doesn`t take much gunk from fuel going bad to screw up everything.

If you're having consistent power issues, check the usual suspects like plugs,
wires. Use premium non ethanol gas. Clean carbs for sure and have a sync hooked
up to see where they're at.

So the lack of power can be attributed to the engine being cold? I just want to
make sure there are no other problems I should be anticipating or looking for.
Thanks

I live in Florida and I usually leave with half choke on. It takes a while for
these bikes to warm up.

the gas you mean it should warm up with whatever fuel is left in the carb

This bike is finicky when it's cold. Most Hondas are. It definitely needs a
good 5-10 minute warm up and don't romp on it while it's warming up. Choke is
gonna be needed most of the time unless it's 80+ degrees. Idle should be higher
in the cold but idle should be around 1k to 1500. Always be sure to turn off
the gas as well.
