I use my 20-35mm f/2.8 (AFD) on my D700 and love the results. It really is helpful to be able to move lenses from my F100 to the D700 and back again and not have to get used to changing perspective all of the time. I haven't noticed any light fall off in the corners.
Yep, thats my fav combo. I switch the 20-35AFD and 80-200 between the F5 and D700.
