Again I think, the decision which features Nisus Software wants to add first is well thought -- I'd just like to add one further: Support of styles. Then really most of the users I know could do most of their work in NW Express -- and it really would be a product you could recommend especially university students.
I use NW and now NWE all day every day, and the only drop dead necessary features I miss are styles and two character shortcuts. I suppose can adapt to the shortcut issue (although this is what has kept me from switching to other OS X native word processors), but the lack of styles is serious a serious and basic oversight that, I believe, it will hurt NWE's prospects in the marketplace. This missing feature alone will keep me checking out NWE's OS X competition with each upgrade.
Yes, I can continue to use classic NW for complicated text, but Classic has its own set of compromises. FWIW, I don't expect NWE to be a Word or classic NW killer. It just needs a little more.
Just my thoughts,
Evans
