Duh, why did I not think to search the 64Studio site before now? [sigh]
Oh well.
So, here's what I found:

Basically, the tetex-bin source files are now over 5 years old. The
work-around is to change your system clock before installing 64Studio.
I may try that today if I get time.
I wonder if that would also solve the issue I had with the 3.0 beta??
