My domain is hosted by webmasters.com, whom I have also had good results from.  
Perhaps once or twice a year I have to report that a mail or web server isn't 
responding in a timely manner.  Within a few minutes, everything is working 
again.

Godaddy is fine for domains.
DO NOT USE THEIR SHARED OR DEDICATED SERVERS!

Seriously though, their servers are a liability.

Their domain name service and registrar service is fine.

They aren't very pro free speech. If your content is potentially
highly offensive, they may not be a good choice.
