Oh yeah, once you clone to the new disk, if that new disk is larger, Disk Management should allow you to expand the NTFS volume out to the full size of the new disk.

Use the -A option to work past bad spots (with zero-fill in the respective target sectors on the new disk - you will have to chkdsk /r c: afterwards - you should do this anyways). This works as I have done with my vista ultimate more than once when playing with upgrade options for win7 ultimate RC.
