I need help. I work for a school system and am trying to accomplish a few things on a tight budget (I think we have some money for consulting). I know I can do what I have in mind on a Linux server or two but I am lacking some experience. I am looking for someone who can help me get up to speed. Some of the things I would like to do are:
- Set up a mail server that will relay email messages from our student data system without becoming an open relay for spammers. - Setup up Mailman and be able to recover from hardware failure, etc. - Setup a work order system (thinking osTicket) and be able to recover from hardware failure, etc. - Possibly set up a web server with a CMS and be able to recover from hardware failure, etc. - Possibly set up an internal DNS server to take the load off our Domain Controller. I am at the point where I have actually all this at one time or another on a test server, I just don't feel comfortable with what I know moving forward into production. I am looking for someone with the heart of a teacher help me move forward. Thank you. -- -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "NLUG" group.
