I would suggest maybe for your Powerschool software, check into a service like SMTP2GO. It would let you offload that concern to a 3rd party, plus give you and your admin a bit better visibility as to bounces and other delivery failures. Plus they will keep track of your "reputation" and let you know if the recipients are considering you spammy. That in the long run is a big issue if you start trying to host your own email server.
