Of the two solutions offered, the second seems better. However, is
there some reason we can't just rewrite the man pages using a standard
macro format? Is there something specific about the nmh macros that
you just can't get anywhere else?
How about switching to the Berkeley -mdoc macros, instead? Or even
the standard -man macros? I think it would make more sense so we
don't have to maintain our own custom macro library then.
It also has the advantage that our manual pages will look more like
the man pages pre-installed on other systems. Ours current ones
typically format differently.
