That's exactly what I just did for all my buckets. In the memo field I
put details about every expense I expect to pay out of each bucket.
For example, this is how I organized all my farm animal expenses:

Bucket name - memo contents
----------------------
Pets:Indoor - Dogs/cats food($40), toys/treats($20), medicine($75),
grooming($120 every other month)

Pets:Outdoor - chicken feed ($10), barn cat feed($10), horse grain
($80), supplements ($164), farrier($90 bimonthly), lessons ($240),
equipment ($400 annually)

Pets: Hay - savings for annual hay expense - to be put in MM acct
every month

Pets:Veterinary - all vet expenses, indoor and out

The memo reminds me of how I came up with the total allocation for
that bucket so that I know that I need to change the total if one of
those expenses changes, such as the price of supplements or grooming.
Hay and Veterinary aren't as complicated as the regular monthly
expenses so they don't need detailed breakouts to remind me. I also
noted if I wanted to do something with the money, like rolling the hay
savings into an interest bearing money market account every month
since it going gets paid out once a year. Of course, I could have
done this all in one or two buckets but this level of detail works for
my brain. In Quicken I had it broken out into 11 categories so I
really am simplifying!

I'm really loving Moneywell at a conceptual level. I've only been
using it for a few days so I haven't really gotten into the nitty-
gritty of managing transactions and reconciling but I really love the
spending plan. I hope this helps someone else. I know I do better
with lots of concrete examples.
