Once a transaction is broken up into a split, each transaction defaults to showing it's portion of the whole transaction. The total of the transaction stays in the split total so you know what it was originally. The focus is on the individual breakout amounts so you can see what is assigned to each bucket as you are viewing them on the transaction list.
