Arrgh! Correction to my earlier post - So after poking around and
deciding I like the software, I think I have encountered a pretty
serious bug (or I am really misunderstanding how this is supposed to
work...). I'm trying to "enable" an existing account for direct
connect (specifically Bank of America and AMEX)
I began a new fresh "document" to make my real sets of accounts, etc
and now I cannot get ANY of the online banking connections to work.
American Express, despite having worked yesterday is now saying that
this is unsupported, and I get the same error messages when I try to
connect my B of A accounts. There is also some erratic behavior
(perhaps on the part of the user) that I have documented in the
following video using the sample database ("document")
http://screencast.com/t/WSBl2nF0m8
As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words....
I have looked through the online guide for information on how to
"enable" the online download for an existing account but searches
didn't turn up anything helpful. Also, I am very unclear about the
difference between "Download accounts from Selection" choice and the
"Add selection to online connections" choice. What is the difference
between "Download accounts" and "online connections"?? (this doesn't
seem to be in the user guide that I can find...)
Thanks a bunch - so far I really like the look and feel of the
application, I'm just finding this issue maddening, as it is a key
feature to have figured out before I license/register my copy.
