Rick, If a pending transaction is in the current month, then it's considered in the bucket total. If it's further in re future, it's not because you aren't allocating income for those months yet.
I know that I have to pay my mortgage each month but I only need to set aside income for this month's payment. That's why you want all future transactions as pending so you can flip between what has already happened this month and what will happen this month. It also keeps transactions from affecting your bank balance but still allows you to see a future daily balance by selecting one of them. I hope this makes sense.
