Kevin, I am payed on a bi-weekly schedule, but allocate income on the 1st & 15th. I like to allocate my income when I get paid (ahead of the 1st or 15th) but correct the moneyflow date to be the 1st or 15th.
The Issue: MoneyWell seems to have no problem with this workflow when I'm allocating for the 1st. It seems that this is because, as far as moneyflows go, MW ignores the day being only concerned with the month. The problem with this is that if I allocate ahead of the 15th MW treats the flows as if they have already occurred (even though the 15th is multiple days into the future) and updates the bucket balances to reflect the flows. Secondly, it would be quite handy to have an field in the Allocate Income sheet to set the date for the flows. This is not exactly the same concept as scheduling allocations as it is still done manually. I have no desire to have allocations/flows scheduled, only post-dated.
