Thanks for the feedback. MoneyWell actually searches both the payee and memo fields for the alias you set up in the memorized transactions. Any memorized transaction can have multiple aliases so you get an OR matching scenario as well. With each memorized transaction, you can tell MoneyWell to update individual fields as well as the payee or just the payee. I haven't really found a need in my transaction matching for more than this. What 1.5 will do is give you more control over generic terms that should be ignored like WITHDRAWAL or DEPOSIT so false positives can be reduced.
