I'm an iBank3 convert as well.  If it helps, I find that MoneyWell
performs perfectly in this regard.  iBank has many controls and
allowed me to make things much more complicated than necessary.  I
don't recall how long I've been using MW now, but my imports (twice a
month, so large) require my intervention on 10 or less transactions
each time.
