Josh Elser commented on ACCUMULO-1378:
--------------------------------------
bq. Josh Elser, would you still be concerned about MAC's speed if ACCUMULO-1030
was implemented?
I think so. ACCUMULO-1030 seems to deal with a different subject, imo. To be
clear, I'm just against _deleting_ MockAccumulo because I don't think we have
an adequate replacement yet. There are known issues where MockAccumulo does
things wrong; however, there are plenty of things it does right. As such, I
don't see a reason to make other people _force_ to something new so soon after
MockAccumulo was even introduced.
I have no qualms against a strong recommendation to use MAC instead of Mock and
a disclaimer that Mock may not be 100% accurate in implementation.

> Currently, the MiniAccumuloCluster assumes it should always create the
> directory structure and throws an exception if the passed in directory has
> anything in it.
