The parser behaviors are very different between jackson / openjson / the vendored json. I'm ok supplementing it, but I'm not sold on replacing it wholesale. I've mentioned this before on https://github.com/apache/grails-core/pull/15958 - the behavior differences have real consequences. Can you make a case on why we should do this?
