On the two smaller notes in the review:
- **Release note:** `getProperty(key, List)` now gives the maps of a list as
plain maps for a list from `application.yml` too, as `PropertySourceConfigSpec`
asks of a list of maps. A miss inside an element, such as
`config.getProperty('app.rows', List)[1].missing.deeper`, throws where 7.0.x
returned a null-safe navigator. Reads through `navigate` or dot notation,
`config.app.rows[1].missing.deeper`, stay null-safe. The description now says
so under its own heading, for the release notes.
- **Merge-up:** noted in the description too. On 8.0.x and above, the
subscript branch writes through `setSubscriptValue`, so the merge-up has to
port `putBelowSubscript` there, and not only resolve the conflict.
