@baybatu I agree with you, it would be good even, but there is a
constructor `collate (self, size, size, keepRemainder)` using `size` when we
have not a `step`. That is, using this implementation you suggested when we
call `collate (0)` throws `IllegalStateException`, breaking compatibility.
