To state it all as a human in as simple language as I can:
- Part 1a: we keep the same set of default Time range filter choices
("Current", "Advanced", "Custom" etc.) on the dashboard editor view but have
the choice to show users "Calendar" inputs for changing those values via a
friendly date picker
- Part 1: We reuse this friendly date picker as a new Time range filter
choice. That way it can used in Explore (chart design) too
- Part 2: wire up the time range filter component to be easily extensible by
Extensions
