I was looking at other BI tools and some strategies used are deriving metrics, applying filters, resolving at the data source level, or providing easy configurations. If we are going to provide a chart config then I would take a more generic approach allowing the exclusion of some types of values. If I can exclude zeros and nulls, shouldn’t I be able to also exclude N/A, blanks, etc? What differentiates a filter from a config?
