There actually seems to be pretty good fault-recovery logic in Win2k setup..
I've had it freeze on me several times, and it always seems to recover and
work around the problem.

Of course, I was probably just lucky...

If you reset it, it should restart where it left off...

Subject: NT->2k DC Upgrade stalled?

Hi,

In the process of upgrading an old P166 BDC to 2k DC (please dont laugh), it
appears to have stalled at the "updating shortcuts to the Active Directory
admin tools" phase, which is after all the AD objects have been transferred.
I'm not sure what else comes after this in the upgrade, but its been
spinning through that for about 12 hours. Anybody know what else is left,
or what would happen if I just pull the plug and reset it?

Thanks

-Warren
