update -s:c:

The i386 directory must be off of the root in order for it to work. Sucks,
I know, but if it's under a subdirectory like it is in your case, it won't
work. Hence your error.

Subject: Cannot slipstream SP2

Following the Boot CD discussion last week:

I am trying to slipstream SP2 into my installation share. When the file is
finally extracted I have a error message that says:

Not all files necessary to perform an integrated installation are present.

I have tried the SP CD that came with TechNet as well as re-downloading it.
I have replaced my installation files on the share direct from the original
CD. I am using the command "update /s:d:\cd" where d:\cd is the local
directory on my machine that has the installation files including a i386
directory. Any ideas?

Bruce
