That's not true. I've done it with a deeply nested i386 folder. I'll do it again when I get home and send the commands.

I have tried the SP CD that came with TechNet as well as re-downloading it. I have replaced my installation files on the share direct from the original CD. I am using the command "update /s:d:\cd" where d:\cd is the local directory on my machine that has the installation files including a i386 directory. Any ideas?
