Im packing my own msi's right now, Im gonna see how it goes for a while,
its just time comsuming to weed out all of the changes that are made by
other programs during a hotfix install, but its pretty nice to just drop
it into group policy and let it do its trick.

The same... we use login scripts under group policy. 

It would make sense for Microsoft to issue hotfixes in easy-to-deploy
.MSI
format, but no....
