IIRC, it's a custom Linux build that's no better or worse than any other Linux based platform.
My personal opinion, however, is that the available Linux firewall packages (specifically ipchains and iptables) can't hold a candle to the packages in either Open- or FreeBSD. PF (and its predecessor ipf) for OpenBSD and ipfw for FreeBSD both rock, and handle a lot of really slick features. ------------------------------------------------------ Roger D.
